Ella Jeanne Savage Hull

Ella Jeanne (Savage) Hull was born on September 19, 1923 in Bailey, Texas to James Oscar and Myrtle (Kiddwell) Savage. Ella passed away on December 9, 2020 in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 97.

Ella graduated from Matoy Schools and later married Jewell Jude Hull and to this union was born a son Lewis Hull. Ella worked at CR Anthonys and was the women’s clothing department manager until her retirement. She was a faithful member of The First Baptist Church in Bokchito the Oklahoma Basketball Hall of Fame and she enjoyed quilting, playing 42 with her neighbors and she had a great love for her family.

Ella was preceded in death by her husband Jewell Jude Hull; parents James and Myrtle Savage; sisters Pauline Lewis and Ann Layton and brother James Oscar Savage.

Ella is survived by son Lewis Hull and L’Rae; granddaughter Theresa Kaualoku and husband Steve; grandson John Hull; great grandchildren Sarah Dolan, Tom Dolan and Alex Dolan; brother in law George Hull and wife Margie and numerous extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, December 14, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Bokchito. Pastor Preston Burns will officiate. Interment will follow in Matoy Cemetery with John Hull, Tom Dolan, Alex Dolan and Aiden Potts serving as pallbearers. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
