Donald Ray Watson

November 4, 1950 - July 13, 2026

Donald Ray Watson, 75, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away on Monday July 13, 2026 at Brookside Manor in Madill. He was surrounded by family and friends.

Donnie was born on November 4, 1950, to the late Oscar Watson and Alvaree Robinson Watson. Donnie was raised and attended school in Madill. Donnie served in the United States Army and was stationed at Germany. After he returned to Madill, he married Sandra Byars and they had 3 children, Terrance, Gabirele, and Sherleta.

Donnie was employed by Clinton Williams Peanut Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports on tv, picking up pecans and walking. He also enjoyed hanging with his nieces and nephews and his buddies, and his best pal Louie. Donnie especially had fun while riding on the Jamm Buss conversing with the others. Donnie accepted the Lord as his personal Savior later in life.

Donnie was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Alfred, Neil, Orlando, Arthur Wade, Solon, A.J., William, Oscar Jr., and Trenton; and sisters Nina Mae Watson, Lavada Watson, Genevieve Williams, Helen Gordon, Alvaree Adair, and Betty J. Watson.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra, and their children Terrance, Gabirele and Sherleta; and 2 sisters Estina Watson Seals and Patricia Watson Fields; 3 grandchildren, lots of nieces, nephews, cousins, and lots of friends.

We want to thank God for Mays Home Health, Mays Hospice, Brookside Manor, the office and neighbors at Ridgeview. A special thanks to Sandie Stevenson Watson and Louie Don Hubert, and all those that made Donnie's journey to his Eternal home a little bit easier.
