Mildred "Midge" Ricks Turner

Mildred (Midge) Turner of Kemp, Oklahoma passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the age of 92, in Durant, Oklahoma. She was born on January 12, 1933, in Mashburn, Oklahoma to Golden Ricks and Nettie (Garrison) Ricks. She married Bill Little in 1951 and after his passing she married Charles Turner in 2001.

Midge was a long-time member of the Kemp Church of Christ. Some of her hobbies included sewing, quilting, gardening, crocheting, knitting, cooking and spending time with her family. She was loved by everyone who met her and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Left behind to cherish Midge's memory are her children: her son Ronnie Little and his wife Sheri of Kemp, Oklahoma, her son Roger Little and his wife Joyce of Howe, Texas, her son Ricky Little and his wife Mary of Marietta, Oklahoma, her son Jerry Little of Kemp, Oklahoma. Also surviving Midge are her siblings: her sister Patsy Ross and her husband Steve of Ballwin, Missouri, her brother Jim Ricks and his wife Kathy of Sherman, Texas, and sister-in-law Marie Ricks of McAlester, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her grandchildren Brian Little, Amber Amoroso, Chad Little, Amanda Schindler, Justin Little, Jenny Little, Jennifer Little, Josh Little, Kalyn Hobbs, and Macey Hobbs, along with 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Preceding Midge in death are her parents Golden and Nettie Ricks, her husband Bill Little, her husband Charles Turner, her son Brent Little, 3 brothers, and one sister.

Family hour will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., at the Kemp Church of Christ in Kemp, Oklahoma. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Bro James Mitchell officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Kemp Cemetery with Brian Little, Chad Little, Justin Little, Josh Little, Parker Little, Colton Little, and Landon Wells serving as pallbearers.
