Kemp, OK- Funeral services for Clara Turnbull, 90, will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 29th, at Kemp Church of Christ with Bro. Jan Kelly officiating. Mrs. Turnbull passed from this life on Friday, April 26, 2024 in Denison, Texas. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Pete Turnbull, at Kemp Cemetery.
Clara was born Saturday, May 13th, 1933 in Big Spring, Texas to Ace Richardson and Vonnie (Brummett) Richardson. She attended and graduated from Kemp High School. Clara enjoyed working and was supervisor at Diaper Jeans, Levi Strauss, and Alcoa. She is a member of the Kemp Church of Christ.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pete on December 17, 2008; and a daughter, Melodie Hanning.
She is survived by her daughters, Theresa Davis and her husband, Gary of Kemp, and Melissa Osborn; a sister, Patricia Garvin and her husband, Paul of Cartwright, OK; brother, Edwin Richardson of Colbert; grandkids Michael Manry (Jo Lyn), Stormy Turner (Stoney), Jordan Hanning (Marla), Alisha Rosenthal (TJ), and Cassie Fortenberry (David); 15 great-grandkids, and 11 great-great grandkids.
