Toni Terrell, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother, left this life too soon on Saturday September 16, 2017 at the age of 49 years 1 month and 12 days. She was born on August 4, 1968 in Denison, Texas to Kenneth and Bonnie (Hair) Taylor. Toni married Terry Terrell in Bonham, Texas on December 21, 1995.

Toni was a member of the Kemp Baptist Church. She retired from her job as a 6th grade school teacher, she taught in; Colbert, Yuba, and Achille. Toni enjoyed playing the piano, reading, and playing with her grandson.

Mrs. Terrell is survived by her husband, Terry of the home; daughters, Taylor Burkhalter, and fiancé Justin Shipp of Calera, Oklahoma, Karale Young, and husband Josh of Edgecomb, Maine; son, Colt Terrell of Sherman, Texas; grandchildren, Landry Burkhalter, Rosy Young, Henry Young, and Piper Young; parents, Kenneth and Bonnie Taylor of Liberty, Oklahoma; sisters, Tammie Jill McDaris of Denison, Texas, and Terri Taylor of Liberty, Oklahoma; close friends of the family, Claudette "Ninnie" Huggins of San Marcos, Texas, and Emma Schleiffarth of Kemp, Oklahoma; in-laws, Ray and Lois Terrell of Bokchito, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved dearly.

Mrs. Terrell was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wilma and Durrell Hair, Sr., and Mick and Mandy Renfro.

A church service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday September 21st at the Kemp Baptist Church in Kemp, Oklahoma with Roger Speers, and Dale Ballard officiating.

Interment will follow at Kemp Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Benny Bowles, Brian Hackworth, Chris Delashaw, Randy Hackworth, Ronnie Haddock, Teman Bowles, Burnie Sinor, and Todd Taylor.  

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to the West Africa Fistula Foundation, founded by Dr. Darius Maggi. Donations can be made on-line at www.westafricafistulafoundation.org or in person at 3621 Pottsboro Road, Denison, Texas 75020
