Terry Stanglin a resident of Kemp, Oklahoma passed from this life in Dallas, Texas on Monday, January 1, 2017 at the age of 64 years. He was born in Denison, Texas on January 14, 1952 to L.T. and Billie Jo (Garrison) Stanglin. Terry married Della Dobbins in Sherman, Texas on May 12, 1972.
Terry loved old antique cars, and the quiet solitude of fishing, he was an avid outdoorsman. Terry had a compassionate heart toward all animals. He had a big heart, his family loved his very much, and they will miss his presence.
Mr. Stanglin is survived by his wife, Della of the home; daughter, Angie Stanglin of Kemp, Oklahoma; brothers, Ronald Stanglin and wife Patricia of Kemp, Oklahoma and Bill Stanglin of Denison, Texas; nephews, Gary Stanglin, Ronnie Stanglin, Dusty Stanglin and B.J. Stanglin; and niece, Rose Stanglin.
Mr. Stanglin was preceded in death by his parents, L.T. and Billis Jo Stanglin.
A church service will be at 2:00 PM Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Hendrix Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Kemp Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Stanglin, Ronnie Stanglin, Dusty Stanglin and Gary Simpson.
