Johanna J. Tyler Smith, age 90, of Hendrix, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2010, at Texoma Medical Center.
Mrs. Smith was born to Arthur Tyler and Josephine Young Tyler on June 22, 1920 in Akron, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard "Doc" Smith in 2008 and one brother.
She is survived by three children, Leonard Smith Jr., of Little Rock, Arkansas, Wayne Smith of Kenefic, Oklahoma and Jo Ann Blacketer of Lewisville, Texas and one sister, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was of the Lutheran faith and lived in Bryan County most of her life.
Graveside service will be held at Kemp Cemetery, Kemp, Oklahoma, on Sunday, August 15, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. Brother Bob Stevens will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Arrangements are under the direction of American Funeral Service, 107 N. Burney, Colbert, Oklahoma.
