Wilma Marie (Sears) Hair was born in Liberty, Oklahoma on Wednesday, July 9, 1930 to Grace Washer and Bill Sears. She was the youngest child and had three brothers who affectionately called her "Sis" and later Aunt Sissy by her nieces and nephews. She went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the age of 81 years 6 months 10 days. Wilma married Durrel Hair, Sr.on December 6, 1947 at Bonham, Texas at the age of seventeen. They shared 53 years of marriage before his passing on August 14, 2002.

She loved her family and worked along side her husband whether it was sacking peanuts, pulling cotton, baling hay or any of the jobs attributed to farming. Wilma enjoyed life as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and farmer. Mrs Hair was a member of the Kemp Baptist Church in Kemp, Oklahoma and a life-long resident of the Liberty, Oklahoma area.

Mrs. Hair is survived by her brother, Paul Sears of Achille, Oklahoma; son, Durrel Hair, Jr and wife Donna of Durant, Oklahoma; daughters Donnie Susan Hair of Liberty,Oklahoma, Cheryl Griswold and husband Jim of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Bonnie Taylor and husband Kenneth of Liberty, Oklahoma; grandsons, Brian Hair and wife Teri of Pottsboro, Texas, Greg Hair and wife Jeri Ann of Rhome, Texas, Roger Hair and wife Jennifer of Platter, Oklahoma, Shawn Hair of Liberty, Oklahoma; granddaughters, Jennifer Griswold of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Jodi Griswold of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Toni Terrell and husband Terry of Liberty, Oklahoma, Jill McDaris and husband Michael of Denison, Texas, Terri Gowen and husband Jimmy of Colbert, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren Lexi Hair of Pottsboro, Texas, Kayla and Abby Hair of Platter, Texas, Tyler and Peyton Hair of Rhome, Texas, Jarid Taylor and wife Diane of Liberty, Oklahoma, Jordan and Cassidy McDaris of Denison, Texas, Colt Terrell of Liberty, Oklahoma, Taylor Burkhalter of Denison, Texas, Jenna and Teryn Gowen of Colbert, Oklahoma; and, her Aspire family Tera, Janet, Missy, Tim and Keith.

Wilma was preceded in death her parents, William Bennett and Grace Elizabeth (Washer) Sears, Jr.; husband, Durrel Hair, Sr.; and two brothers.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 21, 2012,at the Kemp Baptist Church in Kemp, Oklahoma with Roger Speers and Keith McIntyre officiating. Interment will follow at the Kemp Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Teman Bowles, Benny Bowles, Melvin Womack, Ronnie Clark, Gary Weger, Jim Mulder, Roger West, and Bill Haddock.
