Services for Lois Hair will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 5, 2009 at the Kemp Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Kemp Cemetery in Kemp, Oklahoma. Bro. Jerry Fisher will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Lyndon Nichols, Chester Nichols, John Davis, Junior Hair, Kenneth Ervin, Bill Peebles. Family Hour will be Friday, December 4, 2009 6-7 P.M. at the Coffey-Murray Funeral Home.
Lois was born Lois Alena Garrison to Joe and Beulah Garrison in Liberty, Oklahoma on Sunday February 19, 1928 she passed away on Wednesday December 2, 2009 at her home in Kemp, Oklahoma She married Raymond Hair April 4, 1947 in Durant, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Hair was a Member of the Kemp Church of Christ and enjoyed sewing, baking, making peanut patties and banana nut bread was her Family’s favorite. Lois loved to take care of her family especially her grandkids and great-grandkids to whom she was known lovingly as G.G.
She is survived by her husband Raymond Hair of the home. Daughters Rayma Cheshier of Kemp, Oklahoma and Nancy Yaryan and husband Kenneth of Denison, Texas. Brother Durrell Garrison and wife Joann of Kincaid, Kansas. Sister Veta Bailey and husband Joe of El Paso, Texas. Grandson Shannon Hix and wife Becky of Coalgate,Oklahoma Granddaughter Cami Dellinger and husband Todd of Hendrix, Oklahoma. Great-Grandson Bret Dellinger of Hendrix, Oklahoma. Great-Granddaughters Shelby Dellinger of Hendrix, Oklahoma, Miranda Hix of Coalgate, Oklahoma, Chloe Hix of Coalgate, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Hair was preceded in death by her Parents Joe and Beulah Garrison, Baby Sister Delores Ann Garrison, Sisters Betty Wilburt and Rose Turner and Son-In-Law Gary Cheshier.
