Tina Michelle Franklin

Tina Michelle Franklin 51, of Hendrix, Oklahoma gained her wings and joined her Heavenly Father Saturday morning March 6, 2021 wrapped in the loving arms of her husband and surrounded by her family. Tina was born August 19, 1969 to Mickeal and Patricia Ames Stevenson in Denison, Texas.

She spent her earliest years in Denison, Texas. before moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma with her family in 1975. She graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1988 in Tulsa. After graduation Tina married Jimmie Dale Franklin her high school sweetheart July 16, 1989. Tina and Jimmie spent many loving years together living in various places in Oklahoma prior to settling in Hendrix.

Tina was preceded in death by her Mother Patricia (Pat) Stevenson, Maternal Grandparents Jim and Christine Ames and paternal Grandmother Mildred Carpenter Stevenson.

Tina was a Christian and was baptized into the Church of Christ in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After moving with her Family back to the "home" place in 2014 Tina joined the congregation of the Kemp Baptist Church.

Tina is survived by her Husband Jimmie, her Daddy and her beloved Sister Tonia Perry and Brother-in-Law Daniel and niece Danielle all of the home and many other dear family members and friends.

A Family Night for Tina Franklin will be from 7-8 Wednesday night at Cunningham Funeral Home. A Celebration of Tina's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon March 11, 2021 at the Kemp Baptist Church in Kemp, Oklahoma with Brother Acra Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Kemp Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cody Allen, Cordy Stevenson, Sam Stevenson, Dylan Stairs, Daniel Marshall and Derrick Little.

A dinner for Family and Friends will be held from 11-12:30 at the Church. The register book may be signed and condolences sent to the family online @ cunninghamfuneralhomesok.com Arrangements are entrusted to Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert, Oklahoma.
