Kaleb Michael Foster, a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend, was taken from this life too soon, on May 25, 2020 at the age of 17. Kaleb was the precious son of Krystal (Foster) Martin, and was born on July 22, 2002 in Ada, Oklahoma.

Kaleb was an exceptional young man who was looking forward to his senior year at Durant High School and had a bright future planned ahead. He was a proud and active team member of the Durant High School Cross Country and Track team. Kaleb had just completed his lifeguard certification to be a lifeguard at the Durant City pool for the summer. He enjoyed helping others and this was one way he felt he could serve his community. Kaleb’s Christian faith was extremely important to him and he was a member of both the Utica Baptist Church and Fusion. Kaleb’s outgoing personality and infectious smile quickly drew people in to love him. He had many good friends and they enjoyed spending time together at the lake.

Kaleb is survived by his mother, Krystal (Foster) Martin and husband Ronnie Martin of Durant, Oklahoma, sister, Kaylee Paige Thomas of Durant, Oklahoma, grandparents, Winford (Randee) and Frankie Foster of Durant, Oklahoma, siblings, Courtney Humphrey of Yukon, Oklahoma, Jordan Nelson of Utica, Oklahoma, Carson Nelson of Utica, Oklahoma, nephew, Colton Humphrey of Yukon, Oklahoma, aunt, Kristin Patton and her sons, Auston, Spencer and Taylor all of Denison, Texas, and he is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.

Kaleb will be missed dearly and the family asks for your continued prayers during this difficult time. The family also expresses their true heartfelt appreciation for the love, prayers, and compassion his friends, our community, and complete strangers have given.

We will begin honoring the life of Kaleb with family hour, from 3-5:00 PM on Sunday May 31, 2020 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A celebration of Kaleb’s life will be held at the Choctaw Event Center in Durant, Oklahoma at 2:00 PM on Monday June 1, 2020, with Bro. Roger Speers officiating.
