dobbins-m-a

October 15, 1944 ~ April 11, 2024

Mary Ann Dobbins, of Achille, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2024, in Denison, Texas, at the age of 79. Born on October 15, 1944, in Liberty, Oklahoma, Mary Ann's life was a tapestry of devotion to her family.

Mary Ann's journey began as the cherished daughter of Bidge and Georgia (Ames) Skinner. She grew up surrounded by the love of her siblings, and although she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bobby Dobbins, and her brothers Terry Dan and Larry Skinner, her spirit was shaped by the warmth and resilience of her family.

After high school, she married Bobby and embraced the role of a homemaker with unparalleled passion. Her home was an oasis of comfort and love, reflected in her creativity and love for gardening and growing flowers.

Her legacy is carried on by her loving children, Pamela Grider and her fiance Ovid Cole, and Jay Dobbins and his fiance Lisa Luder. Mary Ann's joy was multiplied through her grandchildren, Ashley Hopkins and her husband Tommell, Joshua Dobbins and his wife Samantha, Danielle Adams and her husband Dylan, and Mikayla Dobbins and her significant other Caleb Smith, as well as her great-grandchildren, Harper Hopkins, Braylen Smith, Hayes Hopkins, and Riley Carver. Her sister Shirley Sinor will hold dear the memories they shared.

Mary Ann's family will receive friends at her Family Hour on Monday, April 15, 2024 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Kemp Cemetery with Brother Roger Speers officiating.

Those serving as honorary pallbearers are Kenny Holley, Ovid Cole, Tommell Hopkins, Danny Skinner, Jay Dobbins, and Josh Dobbins.

Services are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home, 121 North 5th Street, Durant, Oklahoma 74701. www.holmescoffeymurray.com
