Lisa Boone a resident of Kemp, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at the age of 51 years 7 months and 16 days. She was born in Denison, Texas on Monday, March 20, 1961 to Quincy and Mary (Muylle) Evans. Lisa married Chris Boone in Kemp, Oklahoma on Sunday, August 7, 2005. Lisa was a member of the Kemp Church of Christ in Kemp, Oklahoma.
Her caring nature led her to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Lisa worked for Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas for over 10 years and at the Denison Manor for 6 years. She enjoyed flowers, playing dominoes and watching OU Football. But most of all Lisa cherished her family and especially loved every minute of the time she spent with her granddaughter, Lakyn.
Mrs. Boone is survived by her husband, Chris of the home; son, Micah Wilson of Plano, Texas; daughter, Jami Wilson and fiancé Randall Clay of Kemp, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Lakyn Clay of Kemp, Oklahoma; mother, Mary Evans and husband Quincy of Kemp, Oklahoma; sister, Traci Biggerstaff and husband Frank of Sherman, Texas; nephew and niece, Eli and Blythe Biggerstaff of Sherman, Texas; aunts, Joyce Nichols and husband Chester, Bonnie Ervin and husband Kenneth and Sandra Pebbles and husband Bill all of Kemp, Oklahoma; numerous other family members and friends.
Mrs. Boone was preceded in death by her grandparents, Andray and Frances Muylle.
Family Hour will be from 6-7 P.M. on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Kemp Church of Christ in Kemp, Oklahoma with Jan Kelly officiating. Interment will follow at Kemp Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Kendall Ervin, Kirk Ervin, Marty Sinor, Kasey Ervin, Trey Marr, Toby Peebles, Keenan Ervin, Koby Ervin, Klint Ervin, Keith Ervin, Jim Salee and Kyle Williams.
