Dennis (Denny) Earl Anderson passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025 in Denison, Tx after a battle with cancer, at the age of 84. He was born August 11, 1940 in Hendrix, Oklahoma to Lilbren Dennis Anderson and Flora Pearl Corbett Vaughn Anderson. Dennis married Patricia Ann Trammell on August 7, 1964 in Denison, Texas.
Dennis attended Kemp High School, Kemp, Oklahoma. He worked for Texas Instruments and Ellis Tool and Machine, Inc. Dennis had and exceptional love for the outdoors, enjoying fishing and hunting. He found joy in gardening, and had deep affection for vintage automobiles along with attending antique car swap meets.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Lilbren and Flora Anderson, his brothers, Clarence, Daniel, Tommy, Roy, Jack, J.C. John and sisters, Bessie, Clara, Ruby Bell, Zelta, Selma and Thelma, Ruby Mae, Willie Faye and in laws Otis and Cynthia Trammell.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia “Trish”, son Randy and wife Christi Anderson of Achille, Ok. and son Dale Anderson of Pottsboro, Tx. Grandchildren, Casey Leonard and husband Cody of Durant Ok., Amanda Anderson and Kyle Shipman of Coleman, Ok. Brandi Hill and husband, Jeffrey of Sherman, Tx. and James Anderson and Shelby Armstrong of Denison, Tx. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, Kyson Leonard, Keelyn Leonard, J.D. Anderson, Bradlee and Kolbee Hill.
Family and friends are invited to the Holmes-Coffey- Murray Funeral Home for family hour on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Chapel on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Dennis will be laid to rest at Kemp Cemetery, Kemp, Oklahoma, following his funeral service. Family and friends are invited to gather after at the home of Randy Anderson, Achille, Ok.
Those serving as pallbearers are James Anderson II, Jerry Arnold, , Ronnie Barkley, Preston Bartley, Johnny Ray Cunningham and Kenny Smith.
