Billigene W. Snell was born on November 8, 1928 in Hominy, Oklahoma to Howard and Genevieve (McDougal) Wikle. Billigene passed away on July 5, 2018 in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 89.

Billigene attended college and worked as a bookkeeper until her retirement. She lived the majority of her life in Kansas and moved to Bryan County 21 years ago from Bixby, Oklahoma. She was of the Christian faith and she enjoyed crocheting, playing card games, video games and she treasured her time she spent with her family and friends.

Billigene was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Edward Lomas and sister, Mary Ann Hoover.

Her sweet surviving family include, daughters, Beth Carson and husband Ben of Great Bend, KS and Annette Whisnant and husband Larry of Bennington, OK; brother, Rod Wikle and wife Karen of Kansas City, KS; grandchildren, April McPherson and husband Mark, Amanda Bickle and husband Lance, Johnny Carson and wife Joni, Aleasha Gouge and husband Richard Soukup, Jeff Gillespie and wife Beth, Todd Gillispie, Connie Graffia and husband Sammy, Nick Lomas and wife Annie, Alex Lomas and fiancé Stephanie Stephens, Jason Whisnant and wife Anne, Jerod Whisnant, Chelsea Pelfry and husband John, Noah Crissman and Adam Crissman; 31 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson and numerous extended family and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow in Jackson Cemetery with Jason Whisnant, Jerod Whisnant, Noah Crissman, Adam Crissman, Nick Lomas and Alex Lomas serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
