Willie Dean Smith was born on April 30, 1941 in Ladonia, Texas to Willie A. and Nola I. Scott and passed from this life on March 11, 2014 in Denison, Texas at the age 72.

He graduated from Ladonia High School and worked as an automotive technician.

He married Lola White in 1963 and they have been blessed with fifty plus years together.

He was of the Baptist faith and he enjoyed watching old westerns and he loved working on his Ford Tractor.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents; son, Russell Smith and sister, Patsy Fern.

He is survived by his wife, Lola Smith of the home; grandchildren Amanda Story, Christina Blevins and Cheyenne Smith; ½ brother, William Benson of Mannsville, Texas and other extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2014 at Jackson Cemetery. Jimmy Stegall will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Trey White, Roger Dale Badders, Chris Greenhaw, Jonathon Badders, Matthew Badders and Willie White.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service, Durant.
