Lola Mae (White) Smith was born on January 16, 1944 in Jackson, OK to William Milton and Willie Naomi (Bennifield) White. Lola passed from this life on February 26, 2021 at her home in Sherman, TX at the age of 77.
Lola married the love of her life Willie Dean Smith in 1963 and they were blessed with 50 years of marriage until Willie’s passing on March 11, 2014. Lola worked as a security guard for Johnson and Johnson until her retirement. She was of the Baptist faith and she enjoyed crocheting and she was a big Texas Rangers fan, but the greatest joy she had was spending time with family and dear friends.
Lola is preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters Betty Ann White, Mary Lou Astran and Judy Carol Greenhaw and brother Larry Joe White.
Lola is survived by her brother Willie Milton White and wife Willie Fay of Calera, OK; sister Brenda Joy Badders and husband Dale of Kenefic, OK and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Jackson Cemetery with Pastor David Boggs officiating. Pallbearers will be Trey White, Roger Dale Badders, Chris Greenhaw, Jonathon Badders, Matthew Badders and William Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Willie White and Bobby Joe White. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneral service.com.
