Judy Pride, of Bennington, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2024, in her home, at the age of 72. She was born on August 25, 1951, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, to Olen and Bernardeine (Wallace) McClenny. She married the love of her life, Kenneth Pride, in Duncan, Oklahoma, on August 16, 1975. Together they shared almost 49 years of love and dedication to the family.
Before retiring, Judy made significant contributions to Texas Instruments as a Wafer Fab Specialist. Outside of her career Judy's passions included gardening, where she cultivated beauty and life, and cooking and baking, where she expressed her creativity and brought comfort to those around her. In her younger years, she found joy in arts and crafts.
Those left to cherish Judy's memory are her beloved husband Ken Pride, of the home, her daughter Mandy Sharp of Bennington, Oklahoma, and son Matt Pride of Durant, Oklahoma, her cherished granddaughter, Hannah Sharp, her nieces, Julie Chastain, Jerri McClenny-Crow, Stacey Moon, Valerie Hale, Lori Howard, and Jackie Crow, as well as her nephews, Greg Barton and Bart McClenny.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Olen and Bernardeine McClenny, and her siblings Jerry McClenny, Nancy Tubbs, and Mary Barton.
Family and friends will gather at her family hour from 7:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 29, 2024, at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the pavilion at Jackson Cemetery with Reverend Dennis Troutz officiating.
Those serving as pallbearers are James Scifres, Joe Scifres, Colby Turner, Tony Collins, Colton Collins, and Jason Whitaker. Honorary pallbearers are Greg Barton and Bart McClenny.
