Jesse Minyard left this life on Wednesday August 15, 2018 in Bennington, Oklahoma at the age of 66. He was born in Durant, Oklahoma on October 22, 1951 to Travis Lee and Lorene Minyard.

Jesse was a longtime resident of Odessa, Texas and worked in the oil fields for over 30 years.

Mr. Minyard is survived by his sons, Scotty Minyard of Post, Texas, Stacy Minyard of New Mexico, Kenny Minyard of Brownville, Texas and Dustin Minyard of Odessa, Texas; his only daughter, Shannon Minyard of Odessa, Texas; brother, Bill Woodruff and wife Jeannie of Bennington, Oklahoma; sisters, Glenda Dyer of Brownfield, Texas and Helen Grimes of Snyder, Texas; special cousin, Janice Ward of Bennington, Oklahoma; ex-wife, Bambi Heard of Odessa, Texas he was also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Mr. Minyard was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Brenda and Deborah; and brother, Gary Minyard.

Family hour will be from 7-8:00 PM Friday August 17th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A church service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday August 18th at the First Baptist Church in Bennington, Oklahoma with Bro. Jay Perry officiating. Burial will follow at the Jackson Cemetery in Bennington with David Payne, McCalip Odell, Clinton Myers, Cowboy Brian, Dustin Minyard, Tate Minyard, and Rusty Ward.
