Mary Lou (White) Astran age 70 of Tishomingo, OK was born on February 16, 1948 in Jackson, OK to William M. and Willie N. (Benefield) White. Mary Lou passed from this life on May 20, 2018 in Durant, OK.
Mary Lou worked as a security guard for most of her life until her retirement. She deeply loved her family. Although she did not have children her nieces and nephews were the joy of her life. She was of the Baptist faith and she enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family and friends.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Judy Greenhaw and Betty White and brother, Larry White.
Mary Lou is survived by her brother, Willie M. White and wife Willie Fay of Calera, OK; sisters, Lola M. Smith of Sherman, TX and Brenda Badders and husband Dale of Tishomingo; niece, Joy Crowell; nephew, Matthew Badders and wife Stormy and a host of extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Jackson Cemetery. Pastor David Boggs will officiate. Pallbearers will be Willie M. White, Trey White, Matthew Badders, Jonathon Badders, Bobby Joe White and Roger Dale Badders. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM.
