Elmer "Pete" Williams

Elmer "Pete" Williams a resident of Durant, Oklahoma, and beloved father, left this life on Sunday March 11, 2018 at the age of 79. He was born in Durant, Oklahoma on March 23, 1938 to Elmer Joel and Maude (Stark) Williams. Pete married Gloria Stewart in Durant, Oklahoma in June of 1962.

Pete loved his life as a farmer and rancher. He and Gloria made a good life for themselves, and their children. Pete was a member of the 7th and Beech Church of Christ. He enjoyed watching westerns, but he especially enjoyed anything his children were involved in.

Mr. Williams is survived by his cherished children, Todd Williams, Jeff Williams, Andrea Williams, and Michelle Williams all of Durant, Oklahoma; he is also survived by numerous other relatives and good friends.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Maude Williams; and wife Gloria Williams.

A graveside service will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday March 14th at the Highland Cemetery with Mr. Layne Heitz officiating.
