Harold L. Wagoner, 79, of Durant, OK passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at his home. Harold was born on July 31, 1938 in Durant, OK to Ray Carrol Wagoner and Grace Geneva (Grider) Wagoner. He graduated from Durant High School, attended Southeastern College, and was a lifelong Durant resident. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge. Harold worked as an equipment salesman and was a member of the George Washington Elementary Alumni. In his free time, he loved to watch sports and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboy’s (except for Romo) and the Texas Rangers. He also enjoyed golfing and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother David Ray Wagoner.

Harold is survived by three children; daughter Anita Alexander of Bonham, TX, Hal Wagoner and wife Carlye of Garland, TX, and Patrick Wagoner and wife Cat of Jackson, MS, sister Mary Cranford and husband Jerry of Keller, TX, two brothers Eddie Wagoner and wife Lynda of Durant, and Dale Wagoner and wife Anita of Durant. He is also survived by six grandchildren Austin and wife Megan, Cheyenne, Erin and husband Ethan, Tristan, Elizabeth, and Caitlin; three great- granddaughters, Ella, Hannah, and Augusta along with many extended family members and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Family hour will be from 6-8PM, Friday, April 13, 2018. Interment with Military Honors will be at Highland Cemetery with Kenny Reynolds, Jimmie Wagoner, Michael Wagoner, Dylon Polson, Chris Wagoner, and Ty Wagoner as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Rodgers, Johnnie Christian, Charlie Miller, and James Wagoner. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hoffman Mraz Care Home at 1505 Cedar St. Bonham, TX 75418. They provide nonprofit nursing for veterans.
