Larry Turman of Durant Oklahoma passed from this life August 20, 2022, at the age of 65. He was born May 23, 1957, in Durant, Oklahoma to John Daniel Turman and Zelma Mae (Hampton) Turman.
Larry worked in Environmental Services Cleaning for Choctaw Casinos before retiring. In his retirement he enjoyed watching westerns and visiting and talking with friends. Larry walked in freedom, celebrating sobriety since 2009.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brother Jerry Turman of Durant, Oklahoma, sister Jeanna Clemons and husband Clint of Bonham, Texas, son Jonathan Turman and wife Autumn of Saginaw, Texas, father John Turman of Durant, Oklahoma, nephews Cody Clemons and wife Amy of Pottsboro, Texas, and Clay Clemons and wife Jessi of Bonham, Texas, along with a host of other family and many friends.
Preceding him in death are his wife Donna Lea Turman, and mother Zelma (Hampton) Turman.
Family hour is scheduled from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma with Dennis Pena officiating.
