Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at the Coffey ~ Murray Chapel in Durant. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery Durant, Oklahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be David Poston, Danny Poston ,Miquel Gonzalez, Jessie Strain, Brandon Castor, Denny Rippee, Don Ray ,Tony Wallace. Rev. Will Airington will officiate the service. Family hour will be Tuesday, December 8, 2009 7-8 P.M. at he the Coffey~Murray Funeral Home
Sammy Sutterfield of Durant,Oklahoma was born August 11, 1951 in Durant, Oklahoma to Carol and Helen (Baty) Sutterfield. Sammy passed away Sunday, December 6, 2009 at his home in Durant, Oklahoma. Mr. Sutterfield loved the Dallas Cowboys and Sooners. Enjoyed working with his hands and his coin collection. Spending time with his famly.
He is survives by his daughters Michelle Castor & husband Brandon of Durant, Oklahoma, and Misty Moody & husband Josh of Southmayd, Texas, Sister Gayle Dollar & Husband Jerry of Durant, Oklahoma Brother W.C. Sutterfield & wife Leora of Tulsa, Oklahoma Grandsons Stormen Castor, James Moody, Granddaughters Alexis Moody, KayLeigh Moody, Angelyka Castor. Special Friend Chris Hart of Durant, Oklahoma. Numerous nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts. Host of other family and friends, Special great nephew, Braydon Prince.
Mr. Sutterfield was preceded in death by: Parents, Carol Sutterfield and Helen Kelsey Brothers, Gary and John Sutterfield, Daughter, Tammy Sutterfiel
