Jenese Mary Simpson a resident of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life in Burleson, Texas on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the age of 85 years 6 months and 5 days. She was born in Hope, Arkansas to George and Alma Jewel (Steward) Robinson on Monday, August 8, 1927. Janese married Loyd Simpson in Denison, Texas on September 7, 1946. Jenese was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church for over 60 years.

She loved to sew making clothes for everyone. Her greatest joy was being with her husband driving their truck and spending time with the rest of her family.Jenese never met a strange and everyone she met loved her.

Mrs. Simpson is survived by her son, Thestle Simpson and wife Brenda of Garland, Texas; daughter, Rhonda Kamp and husband Bill of Crowley,Texas; grandchildren, Grant E. Cranson of Crowley, Texas, DeAndra Binor and husband David of Garland, Texas, Brian Simpson of Garland, Texas, William M. Kamp and wife Kim of Burleson, Texas, Joshua, Texas and Russell C. Kamp and fiancé Michelle of Springtown, Texas; great grandchildren; Colton Simpson of Garland, Texas, Taylor O'Neil of Garland, Texas, Loyd Lee Cranson of Crowley, Texas, Mary E Cranson of Crowley, Texas, Faith Binor of Garland, Texas, Amberly Cross and husband Kyle of Joshua, Texas, Sarah Kamp O'Neil and husband Patrick of Fort Worth, Texas, Marilyn Kamp of Fort Worth, Texas and Olivia Kamp of Springtown, Texas; brothers, Omer Taylor and wife Lucille of Yuba City, California and Eftin David Cline and wife Linda of Tuledo Bend, Texas.

Mrs. Simpson was preceded in death by her parents George G. Robinson and step-mother Lilly Futreal Robinson and Alma J. Cline; beloved step-father, Eftin David Cline; husband Loyd Simpson; sisters Velma Fogger and Doris Johns; beloved friend since childhood, Jewel "Pee Wee" Tucker Rowland and husband Lynwood Rowland.

Family Hour will be from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A Funeral Service in her honor will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Fairview Baptist Church in Durant with Bro. Tommy Rowland officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Loyd Lee Cranson, Bradley Rowland, Dudley Rowland, Johnny Rowland, Kenny Ingram and David Goggins.
