M. Genevieve Russell was born October, 16, 1931 in Caddo, Oklahoma to William James and Thelma Gladys (Calhoun)Armstrong. She passed from this life Monday, September 7, 2009 in New Braunfels, Texas, at the age of 77 years.
Mrs. Russell was a member of the Baptist Faith thoughout all her life. She graduated from Durant High School in 1950. She worked at K-Mart in ladies wear and was a homemaker.
She married J.T. Russell on December 24, 1949 in Durant, Oklahoma. She is survived by: Husband: J.T. Russell, Arlington, Texas, Daughter: Cheryl Friddle of Big Springs,Texas, Son: Randy Russell of Arlington,Texas. Daughter: Beverly Holland & husband Cecil of New Braunfels, Texas.Daughter:Brenda Underwood and husband George of New Braunfels,Texas,Daughter: Valerie Mims and husband Randall of Arlington,Texas,Sister: Phyllis Rogers of Chamberlin, S.D. Brother:Wayne Armstrong of Modesto,California 16 Grandchildren,6 Great-Grandchildren.
Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by: Parents, William James and Thelma Gladys Armstrong.
