Lucille Russell a beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the age of 94. She was born in Caddo, Oklahoma to Hiram Warner and Effie Rebecca (Pherigo) Adair on July 7, 1922. Lucille’s partner in life was L.B. Russell.
Lucille was a faithful, dedicated member of the First Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was a bookkeeper for Colvert Dairy Products Company for 22 years. Lucille graduated from Caddo High School. Lucille attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Mrs. Russell is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Dillard and husband Jack of Granbury, Texas; daughter-in-law, Janelle Russell of Durant, Oklahoma; cherished grandchildren, Lori Morrow and husband Luke of Midland Texas, Russell Dickinson of Bedford, Texas, Brad Russell and wife Vickie of Durant, Oklahoma and Casey Russell and wife Candi of Coalgate, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, McKenzie Edwards of St. Louis, Missouri, London Edwards of Waco, Texas, Taylor Russell of Durant, Oklahoma and Caden Russell of Coalgate, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her parents Hiram and Effie Adair; husband L.B. Russell; sisters Mary Adair, Edith Adair and Pauline Clark; brothers James Adair and Ralph Adair; and son Ronnie Russell.
Family Hour will be from 1-2:00 PM on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Durant. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Bro. James Robinson officiating. Pallbearers will be the Deacons of the First Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service at the Highland Cemetery in Durant.
