Elizabeth Ann Rudolf, a resident of Wade, Oklahoma passed from this life in Savoy, Texas on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at the age of 106 years, 7 months and 14 days.

She was born in New York City, New York to Adolf and Elizabeth Ann Simunek Rudolf on February 16, 1909.

She also lived in Louisiana, Caddo, Oklahoma, Ector, Texas and Savoy, Texas but she called Wade, Oklahoma "home".

Elizabeth graduated from Southeastern State Teachers College with a BS in Education and from Oklahoma A & M with her Masters of Education. Elizabeth committed her life to her family and teaching elementary school for 40 years, mostly at Wade, with a few years at Smith-Lee and Bennington, Oklahoma. Elizabeth truly loved teaching and she loved every one of her students as her own children and always had something good to say about each one of them.

Elizabeth is survived by her sister, Helen Warren of Corpus Christi, Texas; nieces, Betty Morris and husband Randy of Ector, Texas, Mary Rudolf and Don Learned of Pueblo, Colorado, Barbara Cason and husband Tom of Stilwell, Kansas; nephew, Randall and wife Nancy Rudolf of Carrollton, Texas, Harold and wife Olguita Rudolf of Oak Hill, Virginia, Milton and wife Carrie Rudolf of Bullard, Texas, Quentin and wife Becky Warren of Corpus Christi, Texas, John and wife Nancy Warren of Mandeville, Louisiana and Carl and wife Renee Warren of New Caney, Texas; as well as numerous great and grand nieces and nephews, many friends, caregivers and students.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Adolf and Elizabeth Rudolf, brothers Adolf "Doc" Rudolf and John Rudolf.

A gathering of family, friends and former students will be one hour before the service at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma.

The chapel service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Morris Cook and Bro. Jay Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Durant.

Serving as pallbearers will be Milton Rudolf Randall Rudolf Harold Rudolf Quentin Warren Randy Morris and Richard Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be all her beloved former students.
