Wanda "Jerry" (Eh) Robinson a beloved family member and resident of Durant, Oklahoma passed away and joined her Savior in Heaven on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the age of 83. She was born on April 10, 1932 in Caddo, Oklahoma to Johnny and Christine (Marshall) Welborn. Jerry married the love of her life Clyde Robinson in Sherman, Texas on May 21, 1949.
Wanda gladly dedicated her life to caring for her home and family. She was a retired nursing aide for the Four Seasons Nursing Home. Wanda was a faithful, active member of the Roberta Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading a good book and working crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her sons, Clyde Wayne Robinson and wife Linda of Durant, Oklahoma and Jackie Robinson and wife Teresa of Durant, Oklahoma; daughter, Kathy Putman and husband James of Durant, Oklahoma; brother, Johnny Lee Welborn and wife Ola of Irving, Texas; sisters, Twila Work of Ohio, Carlene Bartlet of Ft. Worth, Texas, Delphine Draper and husband Dean of Ft. Worth, Texas, Margie James and husband Jerry of Irving, Texas and 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Christine Welborn; husband, Clyde Robinson; and sister, Pat Hurley.
Family Hour will be from 6-7:00 PM Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Funeral Home in Durant. A church service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the Roberta Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Wingfield officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be James Putman, Jerry Robinson, Joey Robinson, Jackie Robinson, Clyde Wayne Robinson, Bryan Wayne Robinson and Johnny Lee Welborn. Honorary pallbearers will be Laci Tannahill, Kaci Robinson and nephews.
