Chrystelle Roberts a resident of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the age of 83. She was born in Blue, Oklahoma on August 5, 1931 to Howard G. and RV (Shofner) Boydstun.

Chrystelle devoted her life to caring for her home and family. She was employed by the Pentagon for 2 years while her husband was in the military. Chrystelle also worked as a Deputy County Clerk for Bryan County for 19 years and was the Deputy County Treasurer for 10 years. She loved her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and considered her time with them her greatest blessing.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by her daughter, Nancy Conner and husband Randell of Durant, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Shauna Shelton and husband Mark of Durant, Oklahoma, Lynda Menyweather and husband Quinton of Conway, Arkansas and Cindi James and husband Joseph of Durant, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, John Wesley Shelton, Emma Shelton, Letrell Menyweather, Kendren Menyweather, Tavian Menyweather , Marie Menyweather and Kinsley James; step-son, James L. Roberts (Little Pistol) and wife Donna of Commerce, Texas; step-grandchildren, Angie Roberts Stauss, James Bryan Roberts; step-great-grandchild, Justin Garner; sister-in-law, Lillian Boydstun of New York; and other family members and a host of friends.

Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and RV Boydstun; husbands, Donald L. Brown (1/4/1971) and James L. "Pistol" Roberts (5/20/2007); 6 brothers and 1 sister; daughter, Linda Lee Brown; great-grandchild, Toby James; step-daughter, Elizabeth Jane Roberts Tilford.

A gathering of family and friends from 6-7:00 PM Friday at the Holmes Coffey Murray Funeral Home. A funeral service in honor of her memory will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel with Bro. David Kautt officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
