Frances Louise Riddle a resident of Tyler, Texas passed from this life into the next in Lindale, Texas on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the age of 90. She was born in Durant, Oklahoma on May 15, 1924 to John F. and Myrtle Mae (Dodd) Corbin. Frances married Jerald S. Riddle in Durant, Oklahoma on January 10, 1948.
Frances dedicated her life to caring for her home and family. She was very creative and enjoyed many things; gardening, oil painting, knitting, crocheting and cake decorating.
Mrs. Riddle is survived by her daughter, Shirley Anne Norman and husband Michael Ray of Mt. Vernon, Texas; son, Jerald Samuel Riddle, Jr. and wife Sue of Tyler, Texas; sister, Janice Akin of Denison, Texas; brother, William T. Corbin of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Rebekah Sandlfer and husband Michael of Mineola, Texas, Jessica Sundholm and husband Matthey of Lindale, Texas, Jeffrey Norman and wife Melanie of Justin, Texas and Tara Roane and husband Josh of Gunter, Texas; great-grandchildren, James, Luke, Emily, Leiah, Alexa, Sarah, Samantha, Jeffrey, Brandon, Lindsey, Colby, Jaden, Tyler, Will and Joshua.
Mrs. Riddle was preceded in death by her parents, John and Myrtle Corbin; husband, Jerald S. Riddle, Sr.; brother, Johnnie Corbin.
A Funeral Service in honor of her memory will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma with Pastor Jesse West officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Durant. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Sandifer, Matt Sundholm, Josh Roane, Ralph Akin, Steve Harlin and Joe Smith.
