Sarah Bell Reynolds of Durant passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the age of 81. She was born on May 31, 1941 in Dallas, Texas to Henry and Mattie Annie Bell (Chance) Hankins.
Sarah worked in the printing business and was known to be a hard worker. She was adventurous and enjoyed being active. She was a great swimmer and served as a life guard. She also enjoyed ice skating and roller skating. Among her many joys in life she loved going out to eat and having a good time with her family. Sarah was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son Marvin Reynolds of Durant, her daughter Julie Reynolds of Durant, and her sister Nova Walker. Her legacy lives on with her grandchildren Luke Anthony Reynolds and wife Karla, Olivia Jane Cipriano, Blaire Amanda Reynolds, and Courtney Landers, as well as her great-grandchildren Lilah, Elena, Izabella, Jocelyn, and Rhys.
Preceding her in death are her parents Henry Hankins and Mattie Annie Bell (Chance) McKinney, and her siblings Judy Ann Calhoun, Henry Lee Hankins, and Gerald Wayne Hankins.
Family Hour is scheduled from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home Chapel with Dennis Pena officiating. Sarah will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery following the funeral service.
Those serving as pallbearers are Marvin Reynolds, Luke Reynolds, Derald Calhoun, Andy Martinez, Juan Siller, and Rob Walker.
Services are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home, 121 North 5th Street, Durant, Oklahoma 74701.
