Patsy Jean McIntosh, of Durant, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025, at the age of 90 in Denison, Texas. She was born on November 12, 1934, in Vinson, Oklahoma, to Cecil and Lorado (Wilkerson) Weldon.
Patsy's early years in Oklahoma laid a strong foundation for a life of integrity and hard work. After completing her bachelor's degree in accounting from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, she embarked on a fulfilling career as an accountant for the Choctaw Nation, where she was respected among her coworkers. Throughout her life, Patsy enjoyed a wide array of interests that kept her active and engaged. Dancing was a favorite pastime and brought a special joy to Patsy's life. She also enjoyed putting her sharp mind to the test by working sudoku puzzles. Patsy was also a proud member of the Elks Lodge, where she formed lasting friendships.
Those left to cherish Patsy's memory are her daughters, Sherlene Rogers and Carol Dillingham; her grandson, Jerid Heathman; her great-grandson, Foster Heathman; and her sister, Glenda Gordon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Lorado Weldon; her husbands, George Rogers and Mac McIntosh; and her brother, Lonnie Weldon.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., in the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Anthony Williams officiating.
Honorary pallbearers are Jerid Heathman, Ronnie Glaze, James Dunham, Jimmy Bush, Hubert Krebs, and Jesse Martin.
