Joe David McGee , 65 of Boswell Oklahoma passed away on may 31st 2024 . Joe was born on July 16th 1958 in Durant Oklahoma to WA McGee and Jennie Lynn (Howard) McGee
Joe married his wife Stephanie on June 1st 2019. He worked for Johnson & Johnson for 15 years , he was also a member of the fire brigade , he then started his job as a truck driver until he retired in 2021. Joe graduated from Bokchito high school then went on to attend southeastern state university where he was a member of a fraternity.
Joe is Survived by his wife Stephanie McGee of the home , daughter Cheyenne McGee & Hayden of Durant Oklahoma , son Caden McGee (Cheyenne) of Durant Oklahoma , step daughter Harla Vickery of Boswell Oklahoma , Jessica Gordan & Tyler of Durant , step sons Jordan franklin of blue Oklahoma & Jeremy franklin & Rachel of blue Oklahoma . along with 10 grandkids & numerous other friends and family.
Joe is proceeded in death by his parents WA McGee & Jennie Lynn (Howard) McGee & his son JD McGee, and brother Jim McGee.
He spent his last few years at the calera nursing home. the family would like to give a thank you to everyone there who helped care for Joe.A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00AM Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the First Baptist Church, in Durant, Oklahoma with Austin Berryhill & Rev. Garry McNeil officiating. final resting place will be at the Highland Cemetery, Durant Oklahoma .
