Stacey (Darby) Matlock a resident of Mead, Oklahoma passed from this life too soon on Sunday, December 9, 2012 in Durant, Oklahoma at the young age of 31 years 8 months and 16 days. She was born in Montgomery, Alabama to Jim and Connie Christine (Allmon) Darby on Tuesday, March 24, 1981.
Stacey was a woman who committed her life to the love and care of her family. She was an amazing mother and her children were her life. Stacey was a country girl at heart who loved mudding, monster truck rallies and 4-wheeling. She was a member of the Mead Baptist Church. Stacey was fun loving and as tough as they come. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Matlock is surviving by her husband, Steve Matlock of Mead, Oklahoma; son, Ryan Matlock of Mead, Oklahoma; daughters, Kylie Matlock of Mead, Oklahoma and Myah Matlock of Mead, Oklahoma; sister, Jessica Darby Barnes and husband Mark of McKinney, Texas; aunts, Billie Robinson and husband Sam of Durant, Oklahoma and Nance Daly of Florida; uncle, Marc Darby and wife Tommy of Brunswick, Tennessee; grandparents, Ken and Virginia Darby of Auburndale, Florida.
Mrs. Matlock was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Connie Darby. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 14, 2012 at the Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kerry Groce officiating.
