James Neil Lotspeich was born February 11, 1954 in Durant, Oklahoma to Nettie and Arie Lotspeich. James passed away Saturday November 17 at his home in Oklahoma City. James served in the U.S. Army as a Cook and Baker for ten years and earned the rank of Sergeant. He continued in that profession until his death. He was employed as Night Manager at Perry’s Restaurant in Oklahoma City. James loved to fish and spent many hours fishing with friends and family. James was a hardworking and a kind hearted man. He was a Christian of the Freewill Baptist faith. He will be missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Nettie Webb Lotspeich and Arie Lotspeich, brothers; Oscar, Lester, Darrell and Larry Lotspeich, sisters; Ruth Bond, Esther Baker, and Lois Lukens. He is survived by sisters; Wanda Reese of Wichita Falls, TX, Lena Trent of Ardmore, OK, Delorise Hathaway of Oklahoma City, Dorothy Davis of Durant, OK and also a host of nieces and nephews.

Services for James will be held Tuesday, November 20th at 10:00am at the Holmes Coffee Murray Chapel. Roy Davis and Roy Davis Jr. will officiate the service. Pallbearers include; David Patterson, Tanner Davis, Taylor Davis, Bradley Davis, Cody Hatcher and Rick Hatcher. Interment will be at the Highland Cemetery.
