Abbie Johnson a resident of Durant, Oklahoma, passed away in Sherman, Texas February 21, 2021 at the age of 72. She was born to Thomas Johnson, Sr. and Misselda (Kaney) Johnson on August 16, 1948 in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
Family hour will be from 6-8:00 PM on Thursday February 25th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. Funeral will be at 10:00am at Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. Following will be interment at Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma.
Abbie enjoyed taking road trips and vacation with her beloved husband William. She had a beautiful soul and personality, and people were drawn to her. Abbie made delicious fry bread, working puzzles, and watching CNN news.
Abbie is survived by her children, Devonda Silvas of Mesquite, Texas, and Rodney Johnson of Duncanville, Texas, grandchildren, Priscilla Silvas of Duncanville, Texas and Taylor and PJ Silvas of Mesquite, Texas, great-grandchild, Angel Morales, Jr. of Mesquite, Texas. Siblings: Katy Harjo, Jeannette Johnson, Wilbur Johnson, and Cindy Castro.
Abbie is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Flora McGirt, Jimmy Johnson, Edward Johnson, Tommy Johnson, Jr., and Florence Johnson.
