Funeral services for Keiller Haynie Jr. will be held on 2:00 PM Friday, March 13th, 2020 at the First Christian Church in Durant, Oklahoma with Rev. Ross B. Kirven officiating; burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma with Ron Hartin, Joe Barrett, Roy Brown, Mark Swearengin, Jim Harmon, and Mike Ridgeway as his pallbearers. Reception will follow burial at First Christian Church. Keiller passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020, in Denison, Texas at the age of 83.
Kellier married his first love Jocyle Baldwin on September 6, 1957, they were married for 62 years. He was employed by Central Consolidated Schools in Kirtland, New Mexico for 28 years. Keillier was especially proud of the 25 years of his life he dedicated to being the Chief for the Valley Fire Department in San Juan County in New Mexico. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
Mr. Haynie is survived by his cherished wife Jocyle of the home, brother, John Haynie and wife Diane of Durant, Oklahoma, sister-in-law, Darlene Comans of Poteau, Oklahoma, and his cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Haynie was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. W.K. Haynie, MD and Lena Haynie, son, Ronald Haynie, brother, Bill Haynie, and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. O.D. Baldwin.
