Ima Jean Vaughn Conditt

Ima Jean Conditt of Utica, OK passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the age of 93. She was born on May 23, 1927 in Utica, OK to Pearl Tillman Vaughn and Dottie Carr Vaughn. Ima grew up in Utica her entire life being raised by her mom and stepdad Jess Jamison and attended Utica Schools. She married William “Dub” A. Conditt in Durant on October 26, 1943. Ima was a homemaker and loved being a wife and mother. She was a member of the Roberta Road Baptist Church and helped at RVSP (Retirement Volunteers). Ima liked to cook, but loved baking. She also enjoyed crocheting, quilting, painting, and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Dub.

Ima is survived by her son Gary Conditt and wife Toni of Lake Havasu, AZ, daughter Jeanie Perazzo and husband Tom of Durant, a sister Stella Russell of Utica, OK, three grandchildren Andrea, Andrew, and Shawndra, five great grandchildren Bradley, Jordan, Roxy, Justin, and Khylie, and four great great grandchildren Elijah, Edinn, Jackson, and Jameson.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Highland Cemetery in Durant, OK with Bro. Mike Wingfield officiating. Family hour will be held from 6-8 PM on Friday at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Pallbearers will be Bobby Carr, Kerry Carr, Keith Kuykendall, Stan Presley, Jerry Presley, and Jimmy Smith.
