Dwayne Allen Coker

Dwayne Allen Coker left this life for his eternal home on June 19, 2023. He was born September 7, 1939, to Noah and Mamie Coker in Bryan County, Oklahoma. He graduated from Blue High School and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He was an accountant for Johns Manville, J-M Manufacturing, Kwikset Corporation and Stanley Black and Decker for many years. He served in the Oklahoma National Guard for eleven years. He faithfully attended Harless Memorial United Methodist Church in Denison where he served wherever he was needed and enjoyed the fellowship of many friends.

Dwayne made friends easily and cherished them all. He was a firm believer in keeping on the sunny side of life. He enjoyed spending time with his family, attending his children's, grandchildren, and great grandchildren's ballgames, and supporting his favorite sports teams. Left behind to treasure his memory are Phyllis, his wife of 42 years, his son, Shayne Coker and wife, Pam of Lakewood Village, Tx., daughters, Tracey Coker of Sherman, TX. and Janette Leggett and husband, Joe of San Antonio, TX. Grandchildren, Natalie Ford (John) Poteau, OK, Joe Leggett (Marcy) Denton, TX, Caitlin Hall (Justin) Denison, TX, Camile Showe (Burkley) Honolulu, HI, Alex Halliburton (Jessica) Bedford, TX, Hunter Leggett (Jessica) Seguin, TX, Julia Leggett, San Antonio, TX and Holden Leggett, San Antonio, TX. Great grandchildren, Charlotte and Olivia Hall, Denison, TX, Samantha Leggett, Denton, TX and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers: John Ford, Joe Leggett, Justin Hall, Alex Halliburton, Hunter Leggett, Holden Leggett

Family visitation will be at Fisher Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 21st from 5 until 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, June 22nd at 10:30 a.m. at Harless Memorial United Methodist Church, 800 West Florence in Denison, TX. Pastor Rodney Ward officiating. Interment at Highland Cemetery in Durant Ok.
