Donna Roma (Dunn) Cano a resident of Pampa, Texas and beloved family member passed from this life on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at he age of 63 years 2 months and 4 days. She was born on Tuesday, July 3, 1951 in Pampa, Texas to Homer and Opal (Eddins) Dunn.
Donna attended schools in Oklahoma and Texas, but had been a resident of Pampa, Texas since 1981. She worked for the Pampa Wal- Mart Store in the Health and Beauty Aids Department. Donna like to be outdoors where she enjoyed camping and fishing. But most of all she loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Cano is survived by her daughter, Sasha Tate of Pampa, Texas; son, Nick Cano of Borger, Texas; father of her children, Ralph Cano of Childress, Texas; sister, Laqueta Russell of Borger, Texas; grandsons, Tyler Tate of Pampa, Texas and Tyson Tate of Borger, Texas; nieces and nephews, Debby Pershica of Kingston, Oklahoma, Jodi Slatton of Houston, Texas, Matt Russell of Stinnett, Texas, Darin Russell of Fritch, Texas, Ricky Dunn of Durant, Oklahoma, Larry Don Dunn of Amarillo, Texas, Chris Claunch of Amarillo, Texas and Kelley Keyes of Dalhart, Texas; brother-in-law, Ed Walker of Kingston, Oklahoma; best friends, Vickie Daley of Pampa, Texas and Deborah Hoover of Pampa, Texas; former sister-in-laws, Wilma Gecks of Durant, Oklahoma and Jan Dunn of Amarillo, Texas.
Mrs. Cano was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Opal Dunn; brothers, Billy Dunn and Larry Dunn; sister, Geneva Dunn Walker.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations/memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association 8008 Slide Rd. Suite 12-A, Lubbock, Texas 79424.
Family Hour will be from 7-8:00 PM Friday, September 12, 2014 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A service in her honor will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma with Rev. Dan Mclemore officating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matt Russell, Sonny Pershica, Ricky Dunn, Ralph Cano, Eric Pershica and Brad Jackson.
