Ruby Faye Nanney Brock

Ruby Faye Brock, 84 years old, of Durant, OK went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in Denison, Texas surrounded by her family. She was born on July 19, 1934 in Albany, OK to Andrew Jackson and Ruby Jewell (Lynn) Nanney.

Faye graduated from Albany High School. She married W. L. “Nig” Brock on May 30, 1952 in Durant, OK, and they had 49 years of marriage before his passing on December 29, 2001. She was a nursing home attendant at Bryan County Manor for 30 years and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Faye loved watching her Baylor Lady Bears Basketball team and a huge Baylor fan. She loved watching her soap operas, NBA, and Wheel of Fortune. Faye enjoyed gardening, her yard, and talking about her family.

Faye is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Michael Edward Brock, and brother Bob Nanney.

Faye is survived by her son Bill Brock and wife Janice of Waco, TX, daughter Cleta Brock and husband Robert of Providence, TX, daughter Rita Brock of Little Elm, TX, granddaughters; Danika Morefield and husband Mark of Lorena, TX, Whitney Uptmore and husband Patrick of Lorena, TX, and Niki Willis and husband Michael of Whitewright, TX, grandson Matthew Barron of Durant, OK, great grandchildren; Camden, Karson, Clayton, Kylan, Harrison, Ryan, Kayela, Trevor and Alyssa, two nieces and one nephew.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Family Hour will be an hour before the service. Pastor Darel Bunch will be conducting the service with interment to follow at Highland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Morefield, Michael Willis, Patrick Uptmore, Camden Brock, Trevor Willis and Matthew Barron. Condolences can be sent to www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
