Lori Bourne a dedicated servant of Christ went home to be with her Savior in Denison, Texas on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at the age of 55 years and 16 days. She was born in Enid, Oklahoma on Monday, October 13, 1958 to Irvin Morton and Ann (Black) Honigsberg. Lori Honigsberg married Arnold Bourne in Enid, Oklahoma on Saturday, May 26, 1979.

Lori attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Durant, Oklahoma. She was a woman who dedicated herself to educating others. Lori taught school in Washington Irving, and the Durant Intermediate School. She was a coach, taught history, science and math. Lori enjoyed being outside enjoying nature and scrap booking her memories. She had a caring heart full of love for her family.

Mrs. Bourne is survived by her husband, Arnold Bourne of the home; sons, Jared Bourne and wife Deanna of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Zane Bourne and wife Sydney of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sisters, Michele Cowen of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Melonee Spurlock of Enid, Oklahoma and Berlinda Bazzell of Scottsville, Kentucky; brothers, Mike Honigsberg of Enid, Oklahoma, Derek Marsh of Washington, D.C. and Barry Marsh of Enid, Oklahoma; mother, Ann Srader of Durant, Oklahoma; aunt, Mary Honigsberg of Rockville, Maryland.

Mrs. Bourne was preceded in death by her parents, Irv and Ruth Ann Honigsberg. Family Hour will be from 7-8:00 PM Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 2, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Durant with Bro. Darel Bunch and Rev. James Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery. Lori’s nephews will serve as pallbearers: Matthew Mueller, Jonathan Bartley, Chris Layton, David Bourne, Adam Bourne, Kyle Bourne, Michael Honigsberg, Matthew Honigsberg, Chris Honigsberg and Terry Taylor.
