Clifton Thomas "C.T" Ansiel, a resident of Coleman, Oklahoma, and beloved husband, father, and grandfather went home to be with his Savior Friday, November 11, 2016 at the age of 91. He was born on December 09, 1924 in Milfay, Oklahoma to Samuel and Roxie (Gregory) Ansiel. Clifton married his sweetheart, and partner in life, Lola Mae Bice in Vancouver, Washington on July 21, 1943. They were married for 73 blissful years as long as it was his way.
C.T.'s church home was the Freewill Baptist Church. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was a man of character, and a hard-working provider for his family, operating his "Toy" backhoe cutting trees and burning brush. He discovered he had a real "gift of moving dirt around". C.T. cherished the family raised with Lola, especially cherishing the time they all spent together.
Mr. Ansiel is survived by his beloved wife, Lola Mae of the home; sons, Gary Ansiel and wife June of Holtville, California, Robert Ansiel and wife Brenda of Durant, Oklahoma and Ronald Ansiel and wife Debbie of Coleman, Oklahoma; daughter, Janet Poore and husband Ron of Lincoln City, Oregon; ten grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Mr. Ansiel was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Roxie Ansiel and brothers, Johnny, Fred, and Sammy Ansiel; sisters, Suzie and Lorene.
Family hour will be from 6-7:00 PM Tuesday, November 15th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A chapel service will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday, November 16th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel with Bret Doyle officiating. Pallbearers will be Bobby Ansiel, David Ansiel, Glenn Ansiel, Jeff Ansiel, Miles Ansiel and Sean Smothers. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery.
