Ronnie Dale Quaid 68, of Boswell, Oklahoma passed away Sunday July 23rd, 2017 at Plano Medical Center in Plano, TX. He was born July 4th. 1949 in Comanche, OK. to James Francis and Bertha Mae Frederick Quaid.
He was educated in Loco, OK. and Comanche, OK. where he was a 1967 Graduate. He attended college at the University of Oklahoma from 1967-1969, and was a Graduate of Abilene Christian University where he received a a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and a Minor in Vocal Music in 1972. His home Church Congregation started at Prairie Hill Church of Christ in Comanche, OK. and was a longtime Church of Christ Minister in Wetumka, OK. Geary, OK. Wheeler, TX. Cordell, OK. Durant, OK. Milburn, OK. Caddo, OK. and Gainesville, TX.
He married Sandra Lou Branum May 22nd, 1970 and she preceded him in death on January 20th, 1998 and later married Shirley Ruth Green Davis August 12th, 2000 and she preceded him in death on February 17th, 2014. Also preceding were his Parents and Siblings Doris Williams, Elaine Queen, and Francine Taft.
Survivors are his Children Ronald Burton Quaid and wife Heather of Caddo, OK. Susannah Mae Quaid Bodine and husband Michael of Boswell, OK. and Sherri Kathryn Quaid of New Orleans, LA. Step-Children Karen Ann Davis Talley and husband Mike of Wylie, TX. Donna Arlene Davis Carter and husband Spanky of Mulberry, TX. and Guy Gaylon Davis, Jr. and wife Melinda of Corpus Christi, TX. Grandchildren Elizabeth Alice and Patrick Dale Quaid of Caddo, OK. and Dillon Michael and Brittney Christine Bodine of Boswell, OK. Step-Grandchildren Jeremy Lackey of Navasota, TX. Trey Carter and wife Allison of Bonham, TX. Jessica Carter of Washington D.C. Casey, Madison and Lindsay Carter all of Mulberry, TX and Marissa Davis of Corpus Christi, TX. Step-Great Grandchild Emory Carter of Bonham, TX.
A Funeral Service for Ronnie Dale Quaid will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday July 27th, 2017 in the Boswell Church of Christ in Boswell, OK. with Mr. Howard Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo, OK.
