Richard Joseph Warren Plafcan, 4, of Caddo, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 8, 2008, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant.
Richard was born Dec. 24, 2003, in Durant and had lived in Caddo all his life. He had been a student at the Caddo Pre-K school for the past two years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Plafcan, paternal grandparents, Joseph A. and Bertha Plafcan and uncle, Ike Kelsey.
He is survived by his mother, Sherryl Colvin and sister, Cheyenne Plafcan of the home in Caddo; maternal grandparents, Iris Leopard of Caddo and Billy Warren of Kerens, Texas; uncles, Chuck Plafcan of Kerens, Texas, Billy Warren and Todd Warren, and aunts, Sharmon Warren, Frances Pickar and Pat Kelsey, all of Caddo.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Caddo with Rev. Charles Loyd and Charles Plafcan officiating. Burial will follow at the Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo.
Pallbearers will be Tony Warren, Rylan Miller, Michael Whorton and Rance Guthrie. Honorary pallbearer will be Todd Warren.
Visitation will be Saturday and family night will be from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Cunningham Funeral Home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Cunningham Funeral Home in Caddo.
