Larry Weldon McGraw

April 9, 1949 - December 30, 2024

Larry Weldon McGraw was born on April 9, 1949, in Durant, Oklahoma to Weldon and Helen McGraw. Larry passed from this life on December 30, 2024, in Durant, Oklahoma. Larry was a man who worked hard all his life and enjoyed his profession. He graduated college with a bachelor's degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and worked for the United States Department of Agriculture. Larry was involved in boy scouts in his younger days, and Whittington Center Gun Club. He was of the Baptist Faith. Larry was an avid gun collector, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, attending shooting competitions and going to the indoor gun range. Larry was loved by his family and those who were blessed enough to be named his friends. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and adored him.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Weldon I. McGraw and Helen G. McGraw (Murphree).

Larry is survived by his cousins, Roy and Carolyn Johnson of Durant, Oklahoma; cousin, Shirley Slade of Durant, Oklahoma; cousin, Leea Scott of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; cousins, Rusty and Gina Scott family of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; cousin, Sara Bliss of Durant, Oklahoma; cousins, Amanda and Brad Gallagher family of Edmond, Oklahoma; cousins Eloise and Don Losawyer family; cousin, Rodney Hutton.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma with Pastor Jacob Toews officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo, Oklahoma.

Services are under the direction of Brown's Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
