Funeral services for Catherine Marie Horn Joines, 90, of Caddo, who passed away Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Caddo Church of Christ. Bro. Ray Mayhue will officiate.

Catherine was born Thursday, July 4, 1918, in Caddo to Ira Joe and Mattie Marie Owens Horn. She married Paul Maxie Joines on June 19, 1937, in Durant. She was an active member of the Caddo Church of Christ, taught Bible classes all of her life and was a graduate of Caddo High School.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers Ernest and Clarence Horn.

She is survived by her son Joe Harrison Joines and wife WaNeene, Caddo; daughter Judy Kaye Rowland and husband Kenneth, Caddo; sister Dorothy Haggerty and husband Donald, Durant; grandsons Maxie Rowland and wife Kim, Caddo, Jason Joines, Stillwater, and Derek Joines and wife Kimberly, Prosper, Texas; great-granddaughters Karolyne Joines and Kimberlin Marie Joines (and her namesake), both of Prosper, Texas; brother-in-law J.R. Joines; sisters-in-law Sara Joines, Ila Thornton, Nina Witherspoon and Doris Horn; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend Mary Davenport; and special cousins Lucille Brimage, Judy Calhoun, Otis Ray and Pat Jackson, Ray and Clara Mayhue, Dixie Prater and Emogene Smith.

Burial will be at Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo. Pallbearers will be Jerry Proctor, Russell Prentice, Torey Oller, Tim Miller, Seth Fairchild and Jimmy Mahana. Honorary pallbearers are Lloyd Owens, Arvil Milligan, Leo Campbell and Orgel Milligan.

Coffey-Murray Funeral Home is handling all of the arrangements.
