Sue Duncan a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, left this earthly life on Wednesday August 15, 2018 at the age of 85. She was born in Caddo, Oklahoma on April 15, 1933 to Willie and Nadean Elizabeth (Joines) McGrew. Sue was married to Rev. Billy G. Duncan in Midwest City, Oklahoma on December 24, 1953.
Sue dedicated her life in the service of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She supported her husband in his calling as a minister for the Church of the Nazarene for over 50 years. Sue enjoyed working in her flower beds, attending church, and especially spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Duncan is survived by her son, Danny Duncan and wife Susan of Coleman, Oklahoma; daughter, Charla McMichael of Caddo, Oklahoma; granddaughters, Rebecca Royston of Mead, Oklahoma, Patty McMichael of Caddo, Oklahoma, and great-grandchildren, Abby and Waylon of the home and Triston and Taylor of Anna, Texas; sister, Robbie Nicholson of Del City, Oklahoma; and brother, Joe McGraw of Caddo, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Billy Duncan, paternal grandparents, James Samuel and Julia McGrew, and maternal grandparents, M.P. and Maggie Mae Joines; brother, Billy Dean McGrew; sisters, Verna Mae Kitchens, Clifford Nell McGrew, and twin sister, Betty Lou McGrew.
Family hour will be from 1-2:00 PM before the service at the 1st Church of the Nazarene in Caddo, Oklahoma. A celebration of her life will begin at 2:00 PM with Rev. Clifford Joines, Rev. John Kinsey, and Chaplin David Kautt officiating. Burial will follow at the Gethsemane Cemetery with Waylon Stanley, Randy Joines, Donnie Joines, Payton Joines, Patrick Joines, Kim Nicholson, Tommy Nicholson, and Shelby Royston as pallbearers.
