Graveside funeral services for Gordon Eual Dufur will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 27th at Gethsemane Cemetery at Caddo Oklahoma. Rev. James Robinson will officiate. Mr. Dufur, 73, passed away Tuesday, June 25 at his home in Caddo, Oklahoma. Gordon was born Aug 21, 1939, north of Caddo to Mack and Willie (Masters) Dufur. He graduated from Caddo schools and married Georgia Ann Hicks in Caddo.
Gordon was of the Baptist faith and recently re-dedicated his life to his Lord and Savior. He was the owner of Jimmies Auto Supply for 35 years and in his free time, he enjoyed ranching, bull dozing, and improving his farms.
Mr. Dufur is survived by his wife, Ann Dufur of the home; sisters, Almazene Straub of Lone Wolf, OK, Maxine Julian of Durant, OK, Sharon Hartman and husband of Caddo, OK; brother, Bill Dufur and wife of Caddo, OK; son, Lynn Dufur and wife of Caddo, OK; daughter, Lisa Hallmark and husband of Caddo, OK; three grandchildren, Josh Dufur and wife of Caddo, OK, Casey Dufur and wife of Durant, OK, Larissa Hallmark of Caddo, OK; three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Willie Dufur, sister, Amarylis Adkins; and granddaughter Cassandra Hallmark.
